Un año más, el Grupo Seeliger y Conde organiza la Entrega de Premios Jóvenes Directivos con Talento. Ayer se celebró su tercera edición, siendo ésta una edición muy especial por desarrollarse bajo la presidencia de Su Alteza Real el Príncipe de Asturias y de Girona.
Estos Premios representan un reconocimiento a jóvenes directivos que han demostrado sus excelentes cualidades personales y profesionales. Constituyen un referente y como tales SYC quiere reconocer su esfuerzo y potencial.
One more year, Seeliger y Conde organized "Premios Jóvenes Directivos con Talento". Yesterday it held its third edition. It was a very special edition because it was developed under the chairmanship of His Royal Highness the Prince of Asturias and Girona.
These awards are a recognition of young managers who have demonstrated their personal excellence and professional skills. They are a reference and that's why SYC wants to acknowledge their effort and potential.
El acto estuvo precedido por la mesa redonda “A contracorriente. Reinventarse en tiempos de crisis”, coorganizada por la Fundación Príncipe de Girona y Seeliger y Conde.
El Príncipe de Asturias y de Girona, Felipe de Borbón, en su discurso, emplazó a los jóvenes a asumir riesgos e innovar para salir de la crisis; "Ser innovador requiere, además de la creatividad, la decisión de arriesgar y el coraje de llegar hasta el final del proceso", ha aseverado.
The event was preceded by the round table: "A counter. Reinvent themselves in times of crisis".
The Prince Felipe, in his speech, called on young people to take risks and innovate to overcome the crisis: "Being innovative requires not only creativity, decision to risk and courage to reach the end of the process," he asserted.
LOS SEIS PREMIADOS:
El más joven de los premiados ha sido el responsable de ingeniería de producción de la principal planta de furgonetas Mercedes-Benz en Düsseldorf, Alejo Beleta, de 37 años, que ha recibido el galardón en el Área de Operaciones; seguido por el director general de Abantia, Cristian Gaju, de 38 años, premiado en el Área de Dirección General.
La directora financiera de AstraZeneca España, Ana Ponzoda, de 39 años, ha sido la única mujer galardonada, en el Área de Dirección Financiera.
Asimismo, en el Área Comercial el reconocimiento se lo ha llevado el director general de la división de aguas del grupo Mahou&San Miguel, Peio Arbeloa, de 39 años; en el Área de RRHH el HR Managing Director de Sorvereing Bank en Boston y miembro del comité ejecutivo del Santander en EE.UU., Francisco Javier Simón, de 39 años; y en el Área de Marketing, el director general de este ámbito en Danone España, Santiago Mier, también de 39.
Por último, el premio en el Área Tecnológica ha correspondido al consejero delegado del centro de Telefónica I+D y director de desarrollo de producto e innovación, así como miembro del consejo de Telefónica Digital y de Jajah, Carlos Domingo, de 40 años.
The six awards:
The youngest of the winners has been responsible for production engineering from the main plant of Mercedes-Benz vans in Düsseldorf, Beleta Alejo, 37, who has received the award in the Area of Operations, followed by the CEO Abantia, Cristian Gaju, 38, winner in the General Management Area.
The chief financial officer of AstraZeneca Spain, Ana Ponzoda, 39, has been the only woman to be awarded in the area of Financial Management.
Also, in the commercial area the recognition it has brought the general manager of the water division of Group Mahou & San Miguel, Peio Arbeloa, 39 years in the area of HR, HR managing director of Sorvereing Bank in Boston and member of the Santander executive in the U.S., Francisco Javier Simon, 39, and in the area of Marketing, general manager at Danone Spain this field, James Mier, also 39.
Finally, the prize in the technological area corresponded to the center CEO of Telefónica I + D and director of product development and innovation as well as a board member of Digital Telephone and Jajah, Carlos Domingo, 40.
Following the ceremony, we enjoyed a cocktail that was the perfect environment to greet familiar faces and exchange opinions and to network with colleagues of not more than 40 years.
Sinceramente, para mí este tipo de eventos, y más cuando están formados por y para la gente joven, hacen que se me recarguen las pilas y salga con ganas de cambiar el mundo.
Honestly for me this kind of event, and specially when they are formed by and for young people, leave me with the batteries recharged and leave me with the desire of wanting to change the world.
